Kelly Miller Elementary is proud to announce the members of our 2025–2026 School Improvement Council (SIC). The SIC plays an important role in fostering collaboration among parents, teachers, staff, and community members to support student achievement and school improvement.

Responsibilities of the SIC

The School Improvement Council is charged with:

• Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s five-year improvement (strategic) plan.
   
• Preparing updates to the plan each year.
   
• Writing the annual Report to Parents on the school’s progress.
   
• Helping to develop and review the narrative for the South Carolina School Report Card.
   
• Serving as a liaison between the school, families, and the community to encourage input and involvement in decision-making.
